A Political Movement in Which Means for Corporate Power
I define political ecology as a radical and holistic tool for social transformation. Therefore, although the Spanish State is often reduced to one of its components such as eco-socialism, political ecology is understood as a global political system and independent thinking that responds to specific historical needs. Facing the ecological crisis and of civilization itself as a new array processing to protect the human species itself and survive in decent conditions for all today and tomorrow. It becomes the “new hope” for the twenty-first century, leading to assume without complex political ecology to refer to the complexity of the world and transforming the new forces
In brief, political ecology can be understood as antiproductivism, search for meaning and radical democracy. First as antiproductivism as to verify the global socio-ecological crisis that has caused, is opposed to the postulate that converts growth, characterized by production and mass consumption, the engine of welfare and biennia intrinsically objective. Second as a quest for meaning, because the political ecology of deep-sea raises issues for industrial societies, by questioning the centrality of the opposition between capital and labor and ask why and why we produce?.
